Default LQ4 pistons/rods

Hello all,great forum.

I have a LQ4 engine out of a 2004 2500hd vin U.
It has full floating wrist pins and the pistons appear to be hyper-eutectic,but they are dished and coated skirts. It also has steel main caps not iron.

Has anyone else found these floating piston pins, steel main caps, coated skirts on LQ4 engines?
I have read threads on top of threads and still can not find the answer.
the LQ9 style rod appears to be bigger and would better suit my build.I think that is what I have.

The difference in the lq4 and lq9 pistons are the lq4 is dished. And the lq9 are flat tops. Is raises the compression creating more hp. That basically the only difference between both motors

04 and up LQ4 has the same floating rods as earlier LQ9, Pistons coating on the skirts is common and steel caps. The rods you have are good.
