Default info on 823 cast heads

Im a new owner of a 2001 SS Camaro, I bought a 6.0 that has 823 cast on the heads.Im goin to stroke this motor and was wandering if these heads are worth a flip or should i go with after market heads ?

823's are l92 heads they can be the **** with ls3 intake valves!

you mean putn ls3 valves in these heads? What does a ls3 intake cost?

Ls3 intakes go for about 300 with injectors and no throttle body, you can put ls3 valves in the heads, the weight less. There is nothing wrong with the stock heads though. I am using the stock heads.

823s are l92 heads, which are the same as ls3 heads. ls3 heads have the lighter valves, other than that the same heads.

whats the biggest lift in a cam that wouldnt hurt the stock l92 heads?
