Default Another LS7 lifter question

Are the LS7 lifters longer or shorter than the stock LS1 lifters. The reason im asking is im about to replace at a minimum my lifters. If my cam is wiped out then ill replace it with a new T-Rex but all im doing is repairing the car to sell it. Im being told I can keep my 7.4 in pushrods I have now even if i switch to the LS7 lifters but research on LS1tech is saying otherwise. Im trying to keep this as low cost as possible as all im doing is selling the car for 8,000 but i do want it to be solid. If it cost a few more dollars for me to sleep at night im on with that but i dont want to go broke trying to sell this thing.

Thanks for any advice

The LS7 lifters are the same length, but cup is higher in the lifter body, so if you want to maintain the same lifter pre-load you need to go with .05" shorter push-rods.
