What is so special about svo's. Whats the difference between them and say fic's

Nothing special at all about them.....I have had a set. Recently I switched over to FIC rejetted stockers.

I was going to buy fic. I thought they were good. A member has a used set of svo for sale and was debating.buying used or new

I run the SVO 42lbs in my car , The SVO injectors are rated at 43.5lbs.fuel pressure, were our cars are at 56 to 60 lbs fuel pressure. witch will raise the flow rate of the SVO injectors. My SVO 42lbs injectors will flow 49.3lbs @ 80% duty cycle with 60lbs fuel pressure

I have z06 ls6. Running fast 92 ported.eps cam kooks 1 7/8 and was wondering what size I need. I was thinking fic 42s

I run the 42lbs.on my 418cid. You should be fine with the 42s

Say that I dont need 42's. Will it hurt anything by overdoing the size?

You just have to tune for the increased size. It's like having a pipe set at X size and and X rate. you increase the pipe size and you have to adjust the rate to factor the size increase to maintain rate of X.
