I used them. They aren't PRW PQ, they are PRW aluminum. You will need to check clearance from top of hex on the mounting stud to the under side of rocker. I had to chamfer the under sides that operate around the stud for more clearance because of my valvetrain geometry. They work fine & I had no failures over two seasons. Used their 1.8's @ that time, when I was running a less aggressive cam. Only reason I changed was because of going back to 1.7's & didn't need the 1.8's any more.

What I meant was that mine are PRW aluminum. As far as what I have experienced, there is no reason not to use PRW roller rockers. Just be sure to check clearances below the rocker (against the hex on the stud) & behind the rocker (the wall of the heads).

Your gonna get what you pay for mate. An engine full of alloy chunks. Search YouTube for broken rocker arm. Cheap and reliable have never really fitted together with products coming out of china.

Spoken like someone who's never used the product being discussed. Further, I have had "name brand" rocker pivot shafts walk out of the housing & other "name brand" rocker needle bearing retainers come off. Never had a PRW rocker fail.

To the OP, my PRW's were used on springs w/ less seat pressure than you are running. As mentioned, 1.8 PRW's used on a mild cam...plus, on AFR standard springs. Higher than stock pressure, but not what you are running. I was running up to 6500 RPM @ the time.

Based on what you are doing, I'd use stock GM 1.7 rockers w/ the trunnion upgrade.

That could be said of many aftermarket rockers above 6500 ish RPM. The roller tips are heavy & can cause trouble up where you are running. That's why I suggested stock GM rockers w/ the trunnion upgrade. 7400 RPM is a lot of speed. A light weight rocker tip & caged trunnion bearings are your best bet.
