Default 243's To TFS 215's Do I Need To Re-Flycut?

I flycut my pistons for 59cc 243's on my old setup, but I just got 59cc Trickflow 215's. Will I have to flycut again because of the different chamber angle?

I thought there was better clearance with the tfs heads then the 243's but not 100% on that.

With both heads being 59cc, you'll have better/more clearance with the TFS heads because of the valve angle. So, if your going from the 243's to the TFS heads, you won't need to re-flycut because you'll actually have more clearance now. Because of that, it will cause a change in your compression.

due to the valve angle and size difference of the valves (if any) you MAY have to cut again. if the new valves are bigger than your cuts you will for sure

You could also just check clearance when you swap the heads with some clay

The intake valve is 2.04 on that head head so I would think you SHOULD clear but I would still measure....

depends on the size of the cutter used...my cutter is 2.10 and my valves are 2.04 same TFS heads...

I would definitely check...

TFS heads vlv angle is 13*. Youre good. I got those heads as well at 58cc with no fly cutting.
