Default 02 z28 cam in 5.3

goin to put a 5.3l in my 91 Z28 but i had some left over parts from my 01 z28. parts including things like manifolds, valve springs and the stock cam.

my question is would there be a big difference in putting the 02 z cam in the 5.3L and would i have to change to the 02 z springs too?

If your gonna do it you would want to at least do an ls6 cam and yellow springs IMO.

Your 5.3 cam should be 191 / 190 - 114, 457 / 466. The other should be 196 / 207 - 116, 467 / 479.
This would be a good upgrade if you don't mind a slight loss of off-idle torque, and don't want a tune. It'd also be good with mild boost or a little nitrous.
GMPP did this cam in the crate 332 HP 5.3.
You won't get much from this swap, maybe 15 HP at the flywheel, at most.
Valve springs are wear items. The wear isn't visible, but they should be replaced. The GM springs are like $55 per set, so definitely change those.
