Default Is this worth doing?

Lq4 short block, 243 heads, ls6 intake, cam, headers. Will it work and if so is it worth doing?

Yes it will work. Is it worth doing? Depends on what your goals would be? It will make more power than a ls1 if thats what your asking. With a proper cam and tuning you could see 400-440 wheel, depending on trans and cam and if the heads are stock castings.

if you plan on boost later on down the road then yes. are you aware that LQ blocks are iron? so it will be heavier.

Pay no attention to my build then...

243s are going to give you approx. 10.25:1 compression on an LQ4 bottom end in stock form. That's probably more than you want for a turbo build. You might be better suited with a set of 317 heads. Headers are also going to be useless if you're going turbo, unless you just want them in the meantime...
