Default Where to buy ls6 lifters??

I'm building an autocross friendly LS6 for my 98 T/A. I'm looking for a sponsor on here that sells Caddy race lifters. Similar to the ones in the CTS-V Le mans cars.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

If you try to order single "LS6" lifters you are going to pay $30-40 each, and you'll have the same lifter as the "LS7" lifter. Save yourself BIG money and buy the LS7 lifters for $139 for the set of 16!

if you're asking if LS7 lifters will work in your LS6 then yes. LS7 lifters work in all LS-family engines if i'm not mistaken

No, this is what I meant. Matt is saying the LS6 lifters is the same as LS7...

I bought a set of really low mile LS6 lifters because I needed some. If they are the same as LS7s then that is a bonus for me

No, the LS1/LS6 lifter is not the "same" lifter. I think what Matt was trying to say is, if you attempted to buy an "LS6" lifter at the dealership individually they're going to sell you a super seeded part # to the LS7 lifters. You can no longer buy the old style lifters anymore. GM only sells LS7 style, which are the same minus being ~.060 taller inside the cup.

Also as Matt said, @ $139 for a set of lifters you can't go wrong.

Cool, thanks for all the replies you guys! But, I'm really looking for the Caddy race lifters. Similar to the ones in the CTS-V Le mans cars. The guy that did my heads and cam highly highly suggested them. He's built some really fast stuff, so I'm taking his advice. Does anyone know where to get them?? I would just get them through him, but they are on back order. I've been looking at the new low travel lifters from Bullet but they are 550$ to 700$

Thanks again

Depending on what your building, i bet the LS7s would work just fine, but plenty of sponsors (TSP, WS6Store, Speedinc to name a few) sell the Caddy lifters.

Do you need different pushrods with the LS7 lifters? I am 100% stock..just wondering if I should get different pushrods when I replace the lifters.

Thanks!
