Engine builders! HELP PLZ....
I'm putting my motor back together and I have a couple questions. I've searched google and cant find the torque pattern for my oil pan. I was told that this is important.
I also dont know how to tell which cylinder is which as far as there appropriate numbers.
If someone can help me answer these questions that'd be great. Thanks.

What fastdriver said. I like to put the front and rear covers on before the oil pan 'cause the pan puts pressure on the covers bottom surfaces. Also the back of the pan should be flush less a .001 with back of block because bellhousing bolts up to it. Take care that the front and rear covers are centered properly over the crank projections so your oil seals can do their jobs.
