Default New LS1 or 6.0

Ok first post here but hopefully more to come. My problem is I have a 98 B4c i know just a basic z28, I have changed the cam, springs, and added Ls6 intake in the past. After thinking that i have spun a bearing i took the engine to machine shop. I got a call today saying that my short block would now make a good base for a shop table or scrap. I was told that 3 bad rods, crank bad and block was not worth trying to save. My question is what options do I have for new engine? I have asscess to a truck 6.0, 5.3 or find another LS1. Will the 6.0 work without making any changes to car or wiring using my heads and intake? Thanks in advance for the help.

Try a search there is a lot on this subject. But yes the 6.0l will work just fine with minor changes, it should also be faster by a tad and will give you more options down the road when it comes to modding. Go with the 6L

Thanks for the help, I was hopeing the 6.0 would work with out being a major deal so I guess it is game on now. Guy checked my cam and said it was good so I guess I will have my cam and the LS6 intake, should be a improvement over the LS1
