Default ls1 stock rod bolt Torque specs

I broke the ring lands on #7 piston and replaced it with a new stock piston with the motor still in the car.I know the TTY specs. I dont have enough room under the car to use a degree wrench (TTY) has anyone used a torque wrench on stock bolts.. I am thanking 45ft just wondering if anyone has done it and not spun a rod bearing..

GM parts warehouse is not going to give him a torque spec other than the original torque plus angle spec if they answer the question at all.

OP the new angle meter is just a small box that clips onto the socket extension. If you know someone that works at a dealership see if you can borrow it. Otherwise I think the 45ft-lbs would work.

Or measure out the angle and yield it with your ratchet or breakover. All you have to do it turn it a certain number of degrees after torquing, its pretty easy to do without a angle meter.

Is'nt it 15 ft. lbs. and 60 deg (1st design ) and 15 ft. lbs. and 75 deg (2nd design ) ? I took some cardboard and a compass and made a deg wheel ,,,,,,,,worked well if careful .

Hello. I'm a begginer in this website. But I noticed you said first design and second design . Was there a upgrade for these bolts? I have a 2000 firebird ls1
