Default Straight pushrod on bad lifters

I pulled my pushrod out last night and rolled them. They all seemed the same, pretty straight, but I'm taking them to a machine shop this afternoon to double check. Is it possible to have bad lifters with straight pushrods? I thought they went hand in hand. I have made about 8 passes and nothing gets louder our quieter

Car is stock, dd, 60xxx
I've had a light tap for about 20k miles not as loud as some I have heard on youtube. pushrod

Does the frequency increase with engine speed?

just got back from the machine shop and the pushrods are all good. the advice i got was to install all the PR back in and torque down and then check if there is any lash. if everything checks out ok then put the coils back on start it up and kill one cylinder at a time and see if the tap goes away( he thinks its a piston pin or piston slap not a lifter)
