Default lq4 shorty header cam?

hey guys , i'm in the process of swaping an 04 lq4 & t56 into a 95 bmw m3, got the car running. my question is what would be a good cam to put on the lq4 with shorty header? down the line in the future i will be building some longtube, but thats not gonna be for a while, the lq4 has shorty headers, true duals pipe into two magnaflow open exhausts. any help will be appreciated thanks guy

Well if you in the process of getting long tubes in the future i would just do a cam with a forward split. for example 224 228 would be a forward split. I would stay between 4 and 8 degrees on the split.

Put an X pipe in that dual system (to better balance right and left )
As for cam, do you want lope or stealthy? Power range, shift points?

yeah i will be adding an x pipe it just did not get in on time, i would like a nice lopy sound, i don't know how much power this lq4 is putting out now. i will love to be in the 400 range, but i know that i will need long tube and some nice heads, i just would like a nice cam that would make some nice power with what i got now. the car has a 6 speed tranny

That about sums it up......X-pipe and call your favorite cam vendor.
I bet that Geoff @ EPS would probably spec the exact numbers pred Z said.
All your info considered I'd be shocked if it differed much.
