ok so i have a 00 camaro ls1 with auto trans stock gears and only mods are power throttle body kn filter kit and jet mass airflow what is the best mod that i can do to get this car to really perform was thinking about getting mail order tune but with jet mass airflow they will not do tune why what is wrong with this mass air flow dont understand the fuss the car runs great never have had problem and willing to get rid of mass airflow sensor but just wondering why ?

A lot of your aftermarket MAFs are very erratic and make the engine run lean unless tuned on the street or dyno its almost impossible to tune one right. If you want to upgrade from your stock MAF, your best bet is to just delete it and run Speed Density. But the stock MAF flows plenty to support 600+ hp

I'll take a stab at it.

Full exhaust, converter, lid, ect. ect..(basically do all bolt-ons and go from there)

Yeah there is no one mod that is really gonna boost the performance,but imo there is no reason to go for a tune at this point,I'm not big on autos but bolt ons and a stall will get you a good start.and imo I would stay with a maf setup
