Default To cam or not to cam

Ok I've got a Torquer 2 with about 2,000 miles on it thats out of my Trans Am. Since I've all ready got the cam all I'd need is a gasket kit, timing chain, and oil pump and Im ready for a cam swap in my camaro. It has 116,000 on it but its had alot of spray put through it in its life. Do you guys think I should use the cam in the camaro or just sell it and put it toward a 9 inch for the T/A. Thanks

Definetely throw the cam in. 116k is nothing for these motors in my experience. Besides you already have it, might as well use it. I agree with ^^^ the $250 or so you get for it by selling isnt going to be that much toward a 9 inch. Go for it, spray it, and have fun!! Hell looks like you gotta another fbody as a back up if it does blow. Thats a good situation to be in.lol

I'm going to use the 241's off of the TA and they already have the 650 lift springs.

Like others have said might as well use it since you have it. While you have the motor apart consider going to a 2004 or later style valley cover will clean things up and help eliminate or reduce oil consumption.
