Default rod bolts

I seen a post where someone suggested using LS3 rod bolts (11570662) over exspensive arp or Katech bolts.
Im rebuilding my 5.3 as a mild build but want room to add on later. Was looking at the katechs.
Are the ls3 bolts capable of a decent build and going to the track once in a while?

Yeah I'm going to upgrade the rod bolts while everything is apart. Now just deciding between Arp and the Katechs. both are going to cost around $200.
Machine shop want $15 per rod to resize for Arp $80 bolts.

its a good idea to resize rods, no matter which brand you use. i dont care what Katech tells you.

ARP has a good name, I've never seen them fail unless pushed beyond what they were made for.

Rod bolts are definitely not a place to scrimp on, and always resize the big end of the rod when you put in new bolts.

ARP's are fine... resizing isn't needed, if you can do them one at a time...
