I am going to get a cam from Texas speed. a custom. not 100% on what yet I am thinking around 228/228 or so for starters. Will research more later. I was gonna get the CNC Trick flow genx 220 heads but what do you guys think. intake will be 96mm or bigger.

I'm still a novice in this field and am embarking on new domains with my Trans Am. Thus, I would like anybody's 2 cents that are kind and informative.

For a mostly street car I would chose a smaller high velocity port...like the AFR 205.

when going for heads, especially for a street car, compression is your friend. also the best head you can afford, and match the cam to your heads, not the other way around.

FWIW they no longer make that head but have an improved 210cc port....

Spec you cam around your Trick Flow heads...not the other way around.

i have the texas speed ms4 cam and love it i also have custom ported heads and a bbk intake
