I went to the drag strip this weekend, and slipped a crank bearing, so now im pulling the motor and I want to build it, i've never built an LS1 before, I'm aiming for like.. 400ish wheel horse, or what ever is obtainable from the LS1, I need help with the internals, and what to get, i'd really appreciate any help
Thanks.

Lots of proven cam and bolt ons that are proven to make 400 at the wheels.

Yeah I don't think 400 would be a problem even with stock internals in the shortblock.

Alright well I got a bunch of mods on it, I just want to build it while its out, but still have it be a reliable street car, cuz it was my daily driver. What would be a decently affordable build? My budgets Gunna be Probly around $6,000. And I can get a loan too, I'm thinking about a supercharged, or turbo set up.

You're wanting to build a forged motor and get the turbo/supercharging system done for $6000? I think you better go to the forced induction forum on here and do a little research. By the time you invest in all the supporting mods you will probably be quite a bit over 6k. Just a suggestion. I've never done any forced induction stuff so can't speak from experience.
