Default car wont start unless jacked up????

So finally got the t/a started up after heads/cam +rebuild. Car started fine...it was still on the jacks tho. Issue is when the car is not jacked up it wont start. Any ideas? Sensor of some sort?

Check the grounding for the ECM on the back of the motor. It may be loose. You'd be surprised what you might find if you dont ground it properly.

We need more details than just not starting bud...
1) Is it turning over
2) Is there ANY digital gauges/ instrument panel in working order when key is in the ON position.
3) Battery been checked?

Give us a basic rundown on EXACTLY what is happening please.

think we figured it out. all gauges n everything would turn on it just wouldnt turn over. turns out it being jacked up had nothing to do with it. Has anyone else had an issue with their key not making proper connection...ie the resistor/chip in the key? both trans ams ive had did this. every once in a blue moon youll put the key in and all the electronics turn on..just wont turn over. keep trying it and randomly it will just start up. only does this once in awhile with no real pattern.

Yep. I had random starts. New key, no more problem. Thirty some dollars from the dealer. Keep the old one and a door key in your wallet in case you lose your keys. Guaranteed to save you some day.
