ls1 heads Hey guy I just bought two motors and both are complete one is a 2000 5.3 and the other is a 98 ls1 I WAS wondering if it would be worth taking the 806 heads off the ls1 and swapping the truck heads they are both stock,I plan on putting a cam in the 5.7 and headers and possibly a 75hp shot eventally,both are complete even with the cats and wiring ,both have 60000 and I paid 1200 for both is it a good deal

Prolly not going to make too much difference, if you could get a hold of some ls2 heads or at the very least some 241's off of a 99 - 2002 ls1 might be some help... Or get the heads you have worked over some...
