rod bolts resize or not ?

Default rod bolts resize or not ?

i hear a lot about the rod bolts on the ls1 I have a 98 motor and plan on changing them do i need to resize them or just install one at a time whats the real deal

The real deal you get 20 differnt ansewers. I would go with the katech bolts and do them one at a time. but a bunch of ppl will say resize. But either way ppl had good luck and some did not.

from what I have read the Katech swap right in with no problems.some other rod bolts require rod resizing.

i personally would resize them anyways, no matter which rod bolts i went with.

Nah, don't resize them like the ARP instructions say. Hell, forget even torquing them to the spec ARP provides, just hand tighten them with a box end wrench. You'll be good to 9000RPM...
