Default Find the combustion chamber for head

Is it true that 1ml = 1cc ?

I got some PRC head whit casting #862 and the machine shop told me it was 67CC. After searching on my casting number, they all said its a 62cc from the begening.

I dit a test and I was able to put 62ml of water in 1 chamber. I put a plexiglass on top so the water was only in the chamber and did not do a dome effect.

So who I trust ? My test , the machine shop or the casting number ?

Default

1mL always equals 1cc of fluid volume. 862 casting 5.3L heads are right about 62cc after the CNC work we do on their chambers. They would have had to be worked by another shop or individual to get anywhere near 67cc!
