Default Oil pressure

How much oil pressure is to much? I just got my motor done and i feel like its not a enough oil pressure its got a ported ls6 pump wit a shimmed white spring wat would happen if i put a shimmed red spring in it? Right now oil psi hot idle is 20 done changed o-ring twice im 100% sure its not damaged. wat to do shimmed red spring or not?

How old is the oil pressure sending unit?

i have a Lingenfelte hv pump my oil pressure is about 70-75 hot, is your pump new or used it could be bad also have you change your oil filter my brother T/A had a problem with low oil pressure and it turn to be the oil filter

get a decent gauge before you start swapping parts.

Yes pump is new second oil filter and sending unit is new. I even put a mechanical gauge on it same. So is it ok to shin the red spring

it comes with the red spring installed and im running 10w-30 here is the link of the pump

I've got the TSP ported pump and mine never drops below 60. On cold start it goes to around 75.

mines got a white spring thats y i asked about the red one they just sent it to me. wat will b the difference? im runnin 10w-30
