225 Info...
The 225's are being developed as we speak. We are crossing the "T"'s and dotting the "I"s on the 205's and might begin accepting deposits and processing orders very shortly. I will post that information when it becomes available. I will be installing the AFR 205 combination ran previously on the engine dyno in my car shortly with chassis dyno results to follow....Will back to back the 225's on the same combination as soon as time permits. We will release flow figures and other related information on the 225 as soon as we CNC some prototypes and have results to share (best guess on that info would be 3-4 weeks). I think there is still a very good chance we will be shipping 205's some time in April and the 225's won't be that far behind (they are ported from the same casting). Once again, thanks for all your patience and trust me when I tell you that a tremendous effort is being put forth from every department involved in the new LS1 project to get it up and running as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Tony M.

Tony. So there is no difference between the deck thickness in the 2 heads? I would be better off getting the 205's and having them ported to my specs, & be better off $$ in the long run, than waiting for the 225's to be released? The difference in them will be maybe valve size and different chambers?

Thanks Tony for keeping us informed about the new AFR heads, we can hardly wait to see some flow #s on the 225,s.I was glad to see that the 225,s were the same casting as the 205,s, simply because it means that the bigger heads will be ready sooner!!!Keep up the good work!!!
