Yella Terra's rubbing on 243 heads...
Put a EPS 226/232 cam in a 04 Z06. Stock 243 heads with TEA dual springs and 7.425 pushrods. Put the Yella Terra's in per instructions and got a knocking noise when we fired it up. Some cylinders more then others. After hours of taking the valve covers off/on and messing around we finally noticed some notches on the head from the rockers. These were installed WITHOUT the shim. I have the same rockers on my car and do not have issues, although I have Trick Flow heads. We put the stock rockers on and everything is super quiet. Here is a crappy cell phone pic but you get the idea. I have done searching around and read nothing of this anywhere. We will probable dremel the head to clearance the rocker....
Anyone read a thread/hear of this?

No contact issues with my YT's.
I've got the YT 6645's with Gm mls head gasket AFR 205's 66cc chambers , LS7 lifters, I had to shim my rockers to get the proper wipe pattern and ended up with using 7.45" pushrods.
So was the wipe pattern centered with no shims, with the YT's?

Yeah that's rocker damage. Some rockers went deeper then others. All rubbed though. We ended up putting the stock back in. Will probably just trunion upgrade them. Using a dremel would take hours.
