Default Cam swap question

Can I re-use this? It's apparently the piece that holds the cam in place, but when I took it off I noticed this gasket on the backside. Don't want to put it back together without confirmation.

OK, I'm trying to re-assemble, and it seemed like the timing chain was fairly tought when I pulled it apart, now it feels like it's fairly loose. Any suggestions? It is normal to be a little loose, and I'm dreaming? Am I missing something that I didn't see during teardown?

Here's a video of the amount of chain deflection I'm seeing. Is this normal?

Just inspect the seal and check to see if it has any cracks or signs of deterioration on the seal. If the seal is damaged, your oil pressure will suffer!

Oh, no, I'm past that, talking about the timing chain deflection in the video I posted above!

Yes, this platform always has what seems an abnormal amount of slack.
