6.0L For Street Performance
Looking for ideas for a budget 6.0L for my 71Z28. I had a old school 400 small block in it before. Looking to build something like the torque of a 400 in a 6.0L engine. Its going to have fast ez efi injection on a dual plane intake. What type of cams should i be looking at? I would like to make about 400hp or so and have the driveabity of a new style corvette. Like to have alittle lope to the cam but nothing crazy. Also going to be running a/c. I'm thinking the #243 heads would be ok? Just like to go with a basic rebuild, the cam and set of longtube headers. Going to be mostly a cruiser, but i don't want it to be a stone either. Thanks

243's will work well to add CR.
Order a 224/230 113 +4 XER lobe custom grind from comp. It shouldn't cause any issues with the ez efi and still work with stock rockers.
custom so you get a cam that goes through comps internal QC vs the external shelf cam QC process. Vengance may stock it, I can't remember.
