Default 02-04 LS6 Cam

I was wondering if anyone is still running this cam? If yes, may I ask what kind of rwhp you are putting down? I have read a few older threads with people stating 350+ using only the 02-04 LS6 cam.

Thanks..

I wouldn't expect an LS1 to make 350RWHP with just the LS6 cam. Now with some boltons and the cam it wouldn't be too difficult at all. Just look at the LS6 motors that make about 350-360RWHP bone stock with 243 heads.

I feel the same way, but it you search here on Tech, there are older threads where many people have made over 350 rwhp with only this cam and maybe a cat back. I was just wondering if people were still making this power with this stealth stock cam. Maybe tall tales in these old threads here on Tech.

Hello,
Did you have any other supporting mods to achieve this rwhp?
Thanks.

That is pretty good considering the stall probably ate around 20whp.

my tuner told me today that he had a truck with a 6.0 that picked up 70hp! not sure if it had bolt ons thought i didnt ask.

So, nice cam, I'd like a budget one to put in my L33 Vortec. Any offers? I have LS6 intake, injectors and rail of an LS1 already.

Anyone?

I was thinking of putting this cam in my 2000 vette just to keep things VERY mild. But it looks like I can stil expect a good 25rwhp from the cam swap.

Wow, that must be one serious TB you have there sir!! I have a new LS6 long block in my 02 A4 z28. I am also running an UDP, ported TB, JBA shorties (California), SLP Flo-Pac, Magnaflow high flow direct fit cats, SLP 3" Y-pipe and Magnaflow cat back. I also have a tune on top of all this mess and it runs sweet. I think my car would only put down these numbers in my dream, then I would wake up lol. Again, great numbers..............

You are showing some serious numbers! May I ask if you had LT's and a M6? No disrespect, but I have never seen these numbers out of a stock LS6 engine. Did you have any other supporting mods at the time?
Thanks.
