Search LS6 cam in 5.3 on google. Alot of people will say to get a bigger cam (there are more gains to be had with an aftermarket cam) but i have heard there are small gains to be had with the LS6 cam with full bolt ons. You will need LS6 valve springs, the cam (obviously lol) the jury is still out on whether or not you need longer pushods, but i would probably go with the 7.425's from TSP. Honestly man, im gonna put an ls6 in my LQ4 just because im short on cash and i want my car running asap, but Texas Speed sells a whole camshaft swap for 599.99, your choice of camshaft, pushrods, springs, its a great deal, if you got the money go for it. if you want a small cam, go with a 224 or 228 with a tight LSA (116 is about stock) Good luck with the build
