Question Anticipation is killing me

Does anyone have a Sound Clip for this Cam or a Cam real close to it?

TR Custom "Reverse Split" Camshaft - 227/224 .569/.563 114 LSA

I am getting it installed next month and I have been unable to find a sounclip for it.

With or without Headers would be great.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used to have the 224/224 on a 114. You have nothing to worry about it idled real nice, almost stockish. If you are going to ask for idle sound files make sure you know what RPM the are programmed to idle at. I think mine was around 900 on an M6.

Really almost Stockish?

Did you have Longtubes or a Catback?

I thought it was supposed to have a LITTLE lope to it.

Hey BlueTa, I was considering the same cam, but I drive over 100mi each day on the highway. Can i cruise easily at around 65mph with this cam, or will there not be enough "oomph". In other words, did you lose any low end? Thanks!

wfols1- It has "A Little" lope to it but with the 114 VERY little. I have TTS long tubes and Borla I used to run wide open it sounded real nice. I was REALLY surprised how tame that cam was. I would image that the 112 with give you a choppier idle.

Grimey (sorry simpsons joke)- Depends on what you mean my oomph. Our cars have enough oomph stock. I dont recall any loss but if there was it was too small to notice.

Default Cam Clip Host

Dazman,

This was posted on a different thread on this site that I requested the Cam Clip.

This Member Chili Pepper says that he will host them.

Second I have a question, does anyone have a clip of the TR 227/224 reverse split cam?

With or without Headers but with would be great.

Welcome to the board. I haven't come across a clip with this cam in it yet, but if anybody has one I would be happy to host it for them.
