Default EPS Cam/Sprngs Break in Procedure

I just installed the EPS cam that Geoff spec'ed out for me for my FI build this weekend. The sound of this cam exceeded my expectations now I cant wait to see what it does after the FI is on the car and it is tuned! The cam is a 226/234 .598/.612 114+3, if I get some sound clips downloaded I will post them.

My question is what is the normal break in procedure after a cam/springs install. I dont want to hurt the system so give me some suggestions on how I should break the parts in.

Some people say it's not necessary, but I'd give it at least 1 heat cycle for the valve springs.
Start the car up and let it idle until the engine is up to full temperature, then give it a 8 hr cool down.
