Default ls6/fast top end or ls3 top end?

well im new to posting but hopefully im in the right section. i have a forged 370 that i recently had built and i first ran it wit stock 317heads and it ran really strong just broke it in with these heads, then i bought a set of prc 2.5 heads and a set of 42lb injectors and installed them now the motor feels alot weaker and doesnt respond as good as it did wit the stock heads and injector. the car is not tuned yet but i wanted to see if i should sell the top end and buy an ls3 topend which would be much cheaper and probly same power before i spend money on tune. just wanted to know which would perform better thanks

Get it tuned first. You have upped the injector size and didn't tune for them.

Definitely get your car tuned since you put the larger injectors in. I would not run your car again until you get it tuned for the injectors, you can possible damage your motor if you do not get it tuned properly.

agreed, you dont want to kill that new shortblock. There is a good chance you have damaged it already.

The LS6 heads w/Fast90 works really well. Have done it. But it looks like the
LS3 setups have more power potential and easier to make power with.
Thats a huge injector for what you have and like the others said, tune is mandatory, yesterday. Put the stock injectors back on until its tuned. You have way more inj than you need.

Put ur stock injectors in until you get it tuned. Piston rings don't like raw gasoline. You don't wanna wash them out.

pull the fuse on the fuel pump and do a compression or leak down check.it don't take long to wipe out the cylinder hones.the extra gas will wash away the oil film allowing metal to metal contact.
