Default Which Is easier to work on, LT1 or LS1.

Which car would be easier to work on yourself, a stock ls1 trans am or an lt1 trans am. Im only a teenager with a limit to how much I can do, which would be the easiest, it doesnt really matter that the ls1 is faster because I just want to work on something

I'd say they are the same when it comes to working on them, but you'll probably be working on the LT1 a lot more since the LS1 is more reliable. Except for the mods I installed, I haven't laid a wrench on my LS motor after 40,000 miles of abuse, nor has the dealer for any warranty work.

I think he meant like upgrade, like put in a cam and headers etc. Not like general Maitenance.

The LS1 is superior in every way. That includes ease of working on it. The LT1 is a cluster **** of an engine. I have worked on numerous versions of both.
