Default Cam and piston to valve contact

Building up my buddies car right now. We are doing a single turbo on it, and taking off his NA heads/cam and doing 317 heads with a turbo spec cam. Tonight putting the motor together we ran into piston to valve contact on the intake valve. Heads are stock 317s with dual springs, cam is a TU2: 236/236 .587/.587 112+2. Lined up dot to dot and reusing his old 7.400 pushrods. Would a shorter pushrod help us out or is the cam just not right, possibly degree'd wrong? It has a double roller timing set so we put the cam gear dot down facing the "0" on the crank gear up. I would assume the cam isn't too big especially going to the larger CC heads but I could be wrong. Thoughts/suggestions? Thanks!
