What kind of hp gain can i expect to see if i port the stock heads on my 02 ws6 ls1 and install comp cam with Duration 265/271, Lift .522/.529 the rest of the car is stock

That has got to be the at .005", not at .050"

If you do decide to try and port your own heads I have pics of a cut down head to show the intake runner, water jackets and exhaust runner. Print them out and to size and use them so you don't break through to any water jackets.

I am definitly leaving to porting to the pro's. heres the cam i ordered from summit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-54-412-11/. I am looking to put a procharger setup on it sometime at the begining of 2012 with tax money what internals should i go with
