ARP Main studs that didnt bottom out?

ARP Main studs that didnt bottom out? I have to back off my ARP main studs about 3 turns to get the nuts the whole way on. ARP says common but everyone else says not right on non-LS1s. Anyone else have this problem or did yours all bottom out fine? thanks
