Default Lowering compression ratio

What's the cheapest way to lower the compression ratio on a stock LS1 to run some form of forced induction more reliably?

Thinking along the lines of 9:1 CR - this be good for a SC/Turbo?

Thanks!

If you can get chambers to 73cc with a .060" thick gasket, compression ratio is approx. 9.5:1. We have a CNC program to machine the larger chambers for FI applications. Totaled up, the cost would run approx. $350.00 + gaskets.

Good luck,

Richard

you can pick up some LQ9 6.0l heads and just bolt them on, that'll give you 9.4 CR IIRC.
