i can say from my experience with it i could get the right side dowel in by shifting the condenser but definitely not the passenger. the hard ac line will not give enough without breaking just pull it off. A little extra time beats having to get a new ac line.

Using Aluminum 5/16 Dowels we moved the condensor enough to make it work. I took the un cut dowel, placed it above the motor and got an idea how much to cut. I left about 2-3 inches beyond the length of the motor to ensure there would be no fitment issued. This is a 2 person job IMO as some manuvering would be needed.

Well I am not paying the extra money to safely depressurize and recharge the system. Especially being in MID swap I am not towing a vehicle to the proper facility.
Many people have done the same its not a hard thing. IF you have only yourself, you can use a coat hanger and something to hold it up, such as hood or something above condensor. I have done it both ways. Having a extra set of hands never hurts either way.
