What stall are you running? if stock, get a stall first.

it depends on what your idea of street friendly is....I run the Vengeance Racing VRx5 cam and love it, never lets me down on power, sounds awesome and really made my car a lot of fun to drive. I have had more than my fair share of compliments on it. My last cam was a 224/230, .581/.588 on a 114...made pretty good power and would be great for an every day driver but mine isn't and when I threw heads on I decided I wanted a little bigger cam and I wish I would have started with this cam. Just my $.02

edit: just realized you have an a4....STALL IS A MUST as stated above

As Platinum said,

Anything in the 224 range with 580ish lift on a 112 or 114 will work good as a DD.

I am currently running a 224/224 with 601/609 on a 115 in my vette. with an auto and the factory converter I made over 400RWHP with a really good set of heads.

Im still running the stock air box and stock mufflers too....so there is more left in it.

with a good tune (which I need to get redone because my idle quality sucks) you can drive it daily with no problems at all.

A converter should be bought first. What gears are you running? If you have 2,74's I'd change those too.

thunder racing tr224 cam pkg or a tsp 224r-228r cam pkg,get a nice stall converter.there probably be some sales for both for the 4th .get the converter first if you are limited on funds.
