Default LS6 Cam Track Results

I went to the track today and ran a new best with my LS6 cam. The only difference between my previous best and new best is the LS6 cam and BFG drag radials.

Previous best:
60 ft. = 2.163 (street tires)
330 ft. = 5.697
1/8 e/t = 8.563
1/8 mph = 86.36
1/4 e/t = 13.107
1/4 mph = 108.61

New best:
60 ft. = 2.009 (BFG drag radials)
330 ft. = 5.424
1/8 e/t = 8.178
1/8 mph = 89.62
1/4 e/t = 12.560
1/4 mph = 112.08

I know the drag radials made a difference in my 60 ft. times so I guess it's not a true comparison. But I did gain 3.47 sec. on my trap speed and cut .547 sec. off my 1/4 et. The only tuning that's been done is adjustment of my A/F ratio with a MAFT. My shift points are stock.

I wonder what I could run with a high stall converter, LS1 Edit tuning, and ET streets.

Nice results. I bet you would see another .2 if you raised the shift points to 6500.

Thanks ! I really wasn't expecting that with my limited mods. My next mods. will be a converter and a dyno tune. This car also has 83,000 miles on the clock. The only thing I've had to replace is the water pump (knocks on wood).

Probably a 12.0 - 12.2 depending on which verter you get

Great times BTW

I like my Pacesetters and you can't beat the price. I did have to trim my k-member on the drivers side to keep them from banging. From what I've read, most people have to do this with the Pacesetter's. You didn't mention in your post which y-pipe you're going to use. I would stay away from the Pacesetter y-pipe. Mine required a lot of modification to fit properly. Good Luck !
