Default do I have to sell nd buy a new block for a revamp or not

I bought a 97 ls1 short block nd I have a 2002 ws6 can I use the clutch frm the 02 or wht do I need to do to put the clutch nd tranny together

if its out of the car consider kaltech rod bolts.

cause I went to get a clutch nd the guy said a 02 would bolt to a 97 but thts wht I thought ls1 is an ls1 so now to but a clutch kit plugs wires timing chain assembly nd a sensor I broke but not sure wht sensor it is

the block came with arp rod bolts in it new bearing all around so should be amlost ready to bolt together in a few
