Default running hot after cam & headers

before it was at ~200f idling and cruise.
now it will just rise to 240+

i have tried to take air out of the system, radiator looks fine, boiled the t-stat,and it moves 12mm.

I do have a ic in front, and no air dam,but that shouldnt effect idle temp.

You have air in the coolant system. Here is the procedure I used in the past.

1. Turn Heat controls to full hot.
2. Un-hook coolant crossover line from radiator. This is the line that runs to the small metal tube that connects to both cylinder heads at the front of the motor.
3. Fill radiator with hot water. This will cause the thermostat to open.
4. Fill until water starts to run out of the coolant crossover hose.
5. Reconnect crossover hose to radiator.
6. Start the engine with the radiator cap off and keep an eye on the engine temp.
7. If the temp stays at operating temperature while running and with the thermostat open then screw the radiator cap on before you shut off the engine.
8. Let the engine cool down and check/add antifreeze.

I have used this method for many years now and it works extemely well.
