Default Injector size for 224R on LM7

What size injectors do you suggest to use on a 5.3L LM7 with a 224R cam? Nothing fancy, just a daily driver with an LS6 intake and Dynatech LT's. I have stock injectors from the LM7 and a mystery set of injectors that came with the car when I bought it (maybe stock LS1 24#'ers?)

Also, for this cam - suggest going with the TSP package or just buy everything separately to save $$? Single or double springs? I have a Rollmaster double roller already from the blown LS1. Anything else I should be thinking of to complete the cam swap? I've been away from reading up on my LSX stuff for a few years now, feel like a total noob again!

just had my car tuned after LT's, 224r cam, and ls6 intake on a 5.7. My tuner told me my stock injectors were at 100% around 5800 rpm. Ended up going to some 36# FAST injectors.

I'd think 28.8's would be more than enough.

Go with a set of injectors rated at 36lbs with our factory 58psi.
IMO, single valve springs will be fine, I'd go with some PAC#1518's.

+1 on the SVO 30lbs. They actually flow a lot more than their rating due to the higher fuel pressures our cars utilize. Close to 36lb. I think? I have them on my Z06 & am over 480whp. Although, I am just starting to run out of injector.

Awesome, thanks for the info! I'll go for the PAC springs. If I get everything from TSP (cam, PR's, springs, gasket kit, SVO's) it looks like it will be around $1k shipped. I'll do a little more shopping before I order it this weekend. BTW, this is going through a 60E & 3.23's so we'll see how she does. Definitely keep you all posted on the results with dyno/time slip/video once she is done.

SVO's, 224R, PAC springs, pushrods & gaskets arrived last week. I have the Rollmaster double & a ported LS6 pump sitting around I'll be throwing in it too. Cam will be going in this weekend & car assembled on Sunday (hoping). Dyno sheet should be coming in the next couple weeks! Won't be the fastest as it's going to be a stock stall with 3.23s through an auto, but will be good enough for a fun daily. 100shot will come in the coming months .

Do yourself a favor and get a stall before anything else. your really going to leave out a stall and get a 100 shot? Very poor decision

Like I mentioned, it's my daily beater so I don't care about getting the most out of it nor do I want a 2800-3200 plus stall in traffic everyday. I just want the cam and the nitrous for ***** and gigs, not to be a serious runner. Besides, once the FLT trans that is in it now goes I'll be doing a six speed swap. My serious car was the Z but a house is in order first, so I'll return to that in the near future

2800 stall would be nothing in traffic with a tranny cooler. My temps in traffic in 100 degree weather never go past 180 and I have a 3400 stall. You can get a nice 3200 stall from Circle D for $400. The car would pull so much harder and be much more fun.

After a few days of driving you wouldn't even know a 3000-3200 stall is even in the car. That's the great thing about tight 9.5 converters. They aren't sloppy and loose like the old 12 in converters a few decades ago.

The LM7 made 315/326 through the A4. Slow but at least it sounds cool, lol. Time to throw the one fiddy on it! Well a T56 swap is in order first.
