Default Am I gonna get 50rwhp outta this combo?

With the mods in my sig, I am at 373.5 rwhp N/A.
I am eyeing a set of PRC stage 2.5/5.3 heads for my car, along with a fast
102 intake plus the 102 TB to go with it.
I know a different cam would help a lot, but I want to keep my Hotcam.
Am I being unrealistic to think the above combo will get me there?
423.5 rwhp N/A would be sweet.

The fast 102 and 102tb would be overkill I would think... Look for a fast 78 or a 90. Ive seen so many great results from those heads and much better gains with a different cam...

Well, I have read quite a few posts on here where 10-15rwhp have been picked up on bolt-on LS-1's, so with PRC heads plus my cam I would think 15-20 rwhp may be possible.
Hotcam stays.

send your 241s to AI for full treatment, that and a FAST should get you those 50rwhp properly retuned.

With the right tune, you will probable surpass your goal by a little. You could spend a little more & get the PRC 215 aftermarket castings. They are worth around 20whp. over the cnc PRC 5.3's. Then again, so are TFS & AFR versions. Also, PREDATOR-Z is right, AI has a killer cnc program. More expensive, but worth it!

Or you could buy a good set of heads and go with trick flow or afr heads and get a better product. You get what you pay for period. If you don't want to spend the cash, send yours to AI.

Need more lift to get the full use out of those heads.. I had a t/a that made 432 rwhp with stock injetors and a ls6 intake using the prc 5.3 and a 228r cam

Yeah. might do that instead and scrap the fast 102 idea.

with the heads and cam you mentioned you mite gain 40 hp .the gm hot cam you have is designed for stock heads and stock intake flow..with a newer better cam combined with the combo you mentioned you should meet your goal.

With the fast 102mm intake you're going to need the fast fuel rails and their valley pan bolts (lower profile to accomodate the fast intake). Definitely go with the 90mm, you're not sacrificing much horsepower and won't have to spend the extra money on the fuel rails. But I believe with any of the fast intakes you should get the valley pan bolts.

If you want a better head, sell your 241s and pick up some 243s and send them to AI. I've heard of people achieving killer numbers with them throughout the power band for the money spent.

Yeah i think he can get what he looking for just with 243 heads and a fast intake.. If that GM cam is what you want to stay in there then mil the heads a bit.

Spend the money on the heads and go with a proven set up
Fast intake is fine if you have the cash for it
