Default Cleaning MLS head gaskets

If I cleaned MLS head gaskets with brake cleaner or rubbing alcohol will this remove the .001 viton coating?

Looks like mine are toast, black Viton coating came off. Anyone use Felpro MLS gaskets, are they good?
