Default 5.3 heads vs ls2 heads

I am looking at stock heads for a torquer v3 cam install. I thought I was set on ls2 heads until I started hearing that the 07+ 5.3 heads may be a better choice and flow supposedly 10cfm better or s. Does anybody have any input on this? They won't be ported right off the bat, just comparing stock to stock castings.

If you're talking 243 LS2 heads versus 799 5.3L heads, they're basically the same. The 706/862 castings that also came on 5.3L engines have smaller chambers, but crappier ports and smaller valves.
