I've read sooo many horror stories with scorpions. Lots of issues in the past... Maybe they are better now...
I have the g6x3 cam and am running yella terras. No problems here with big heavy l92 valves and Texas speed double valve springs. Your valves are even lighter so you should be good to go.
Also your heads have less forgiving guides than I do so any bit of valve sweep will eat em up. Also my valve train is nice and quiet with these. Can barely hear it running over the air woosh sound my intake makes at idle.
Ps. Just remembered, I believe yella terra claims a little more power over stock because they don't flex like stamped steel does when used on a big cam car. Not to mention the decreased friction from the bearing on the tip.

Scorpions totally redesigned their product about five years ago before I got them I read all the horror stories Bout them. I called a scorpion tech and he said their goal is to have the best LS rockers out there and they put tons of r&d into them. I have been running scorpions for years on my dirt cars. But if I had to pick Another rocker I would get some yella's. Good luck man

I have the Yella Terra rockers and they have been great. They are a bolt on shaft type rocker and not a stud mount which means increased strength and durability. First thing I noticed was the increased throttle response. I also read somewhere that anodizing weakens the aluminum and the bulk of the rockers out there are anodized. I will try to find that information and post it. I am more interested in strength, performance & durability then removing my valve cover to fix a pretty colored broken rocker.

Most people here run factory rockers or yella terra as far as i know, very popular here and haven't heard anything bad about them. I'll be using yella terra's non adjustables in mine, luckily there R&D workshop and sales is just up the road from my work

The problem with stock upgraded rockers has been documented many times. They aren't designed to go as high of a lift as we use so they end up pushing and pulling the valve. This causes premature wear especially when paired with the valve guides that high end heads use. I think they call it sweep? If you do a search it will pop up alot. Maybe someone will find it and post it.
With a roller rocker like tells terra, they can go as much lift as you want and still keep good geometry unlike factory rockers.

I guess I'll do some more searching because I have read the opposite. Factorys have some of the best geometry and ridigity as compared to others (except T&D and Jesel). The only real complaint with the factorys is the needle bearings...thats where the trunnion upgrade comes in ($100). Just for referance I ran factorys on a couple different cams with appsalutly zero problems. And one of the cams was 235 w/.645 lift.
And I dont understand why you would need a adjustable rocker on a hydro setup either ???
Thanks.....
