Default Looking for some help with LS6 heads

ok so i have ls6 heads that i got a back in the day.what combination. of valves - springs - pushrods and rockers can i go with im puting the heads on a ls1 with a 383 kit from texas speed

Contact Texas speed, send them in & get their stage 2.5 port job & springs. I think they charge about $700 for the port job with dual springs. You won't regret it. I personally run Harland Sharp roller rockers without any issues. Stock pushrod length should be ok unless you have them mill the heads (which I would do). Good luck!

I would also talk to Total Engine Airflow and Advanced Induction about port work/springs. With a stock casting I would look at either new OEM rockers, which are improved, or existing OEM rockers with the Harland Sharp trunion upgrade.

What cam are you runing what is the lift? that will tell you what springs you need also check pushrod length buy the tool pushrod checker is easy to use!

well im going to get my cam cut by comp not 100% what i want to go with but i do know i want somthing i can drive on the street and that will not make me throw up.
