Got my Patriot Heads on last weekend
Well, since all the negative publicity is out there I thought I would post my positive feedback. I installed my PP 5.7 stage 2 heads this weekend at TSP's shop and drove the car back home 300 miles right off the lift, after changing the oil of course, and had ZERO problems. The new found power is very nice and I look forward to dynoing it in the next couple weeks. The price I payed for my perimeter bolts heads was great and I am very happy with the results. I am just one of the many satified customers of TSP and Patriot.

The negative input on Patriot had to do with customer service. It is a given that any company will experience some level of failure with a given product. How they make good on it is another story.

I have no negative comments what so ever eathier. My car put down 395 on a mustang dyno throught my A4 with these heads. They obviously make good power for some people and it is sad that one isolated insodent is going to probably cost them business. I bet if they would have taken care of it first thing instead of waiting to make things wright their would not be so many negative things said about them Better late than never I guess.

I have LS6 Heads and ZERO problems!
(however-the motor is sitting on the engine stand)
The trick is to light 16 Candles (8 intake, 8 exhaust) and perform Wica and Santoria rituals while a Haitian Voodoo priest runs a chicken claw across your gold springs.

Did the Perimeter 5.7's look pretty cleaned up? I have thought about getting them since they are so cheap for the 98's? Is there really a huge difference you can feel from the heads?

Seriously, Let it go! Please stop stirring the pot with EVERY PP post. This guy is happy, as are 99% of the other PP head buyers. Comments like that will turn this thread quickly, and get yet another one locked.
Look, you've already got me worked up
I'm glad you like PP heads, ls1itldo. I still think that may be the direction I go, but the heads keep getting better and better (TEAs 340+ heads, the mythical AFRS, etc)
But posting negative comments ALL the time makes it hard to sort the fact from fiction for us potential buyers. You can support your shop or sponsor without always slamming another one! getting off now

Its a good idea to let it go. There will be good threads, and there will be bad threads. It should be seperated though.
Ideally...everyone would post their impressions of THEIR heads...good or bad. Unfortunately, people are more prone to post their negative comments.
Damn, if everything woulda worked out for me Id prolly be out having so much fun in the car that I wouldnt have time to post the good stuff

I can't speak for everyone else but the set of heads that I got from patriot I am very pleased with. I don't think people should come into post about people that are excited and happy with their purchases and bad mouth the product they just bought and installed. I know I spent a lot of money and a ton of time to get my car they way I like it just like ls1itldo and many others have. Unfortunatly some people have had bad experiences and I feel their pain, but to come into a post about a guy that is happy with his product and bad mouth his purchase is just wrong. I have read the post about PP heads and I have stayed out of them because it is not my place to say anything because I dont have all the facts. All I know is that this guy is happy with his purchase and good for him. ls1itldo I hope you enjoy your heads as I have and happy motoring.

Thanks for all the replies, I am happy with them and for the guy that asked about how they were cleaned up, all I can say is that they looked pretty good to me. I am no head porting expert by far, but the looked go to me, nice and smooth corners in all the ports and overall looked and seemed to be a high quality product. Thanks again. It will be a few weeks before I get any dyno numbers or track time, I will out of town on business the next couple weeks.
